We had a great time Curly. Wish we could have made it out a little earlier. By the time I got there all the red velvet cake was gone. We enjoyed it alot anyhow. We won't be there this coming weekend due to my surgery on Thursday, but with God willing we will make it the next weekend. You all have a great time and be safe out there.......................Sam & Amos 44H

I think that evan had to be in Mt.Sterling Sat or something to meet some contractors, to do work on his new horse farm he's building for the World horse games or he would have probably been there Curly!!

If you missed it...you missed a lot.
In my 40 plus years of motorsports involvement at many different levels, I can truly say the food, fun and fellowship of the banquet, trophy presentation and racing were first class in every respect.
To all that provided the eats (which I'm well known to enjoy doing a lot), y'all really outdid yourselves.
It looked like a big company picnic, dinner on the ground, outdoor wedding reception, family reunion, political rally type food feed all combined...it was all the good stuff...all you could hold...and totally free.
And the hardware!
The trophies were big, unique and truly an honor to those that received them: from the people that presented them.
The trophies and the heartfelt expressions of appreciation by the track for those that won, participated , helped out and showed up to watch; was honest, warm and truthful.
And then...the racing!
The karts were there. The track was prepped well. The driver's were chomping at the bit to compete.
And compete they did!
From the rookies up through the opens with stockers and a plethora of blue motors of every description in between...it was a great afternoon/evening of hard fought racing action.
I know of no better place to take a family, friend(s), date or just yourself, not spend a lot of money and get the maximum F.P.G (fun per gallon) getting there....it's RIVERSIDE...hands down!
I gotta speak it plain. I've heard and I have even voiced my opinions on occasion on RIVERSIDE's trials and tribulations.
BUT
I saw and heard, in that festive atmosphere and in the days following...a spirit of friendship, goodwill, reconciliation, renewal, and forgiveness of incidents, things, people, decisions and attitudes...that simply had to be a God crafted thing.
And that, ladies and gentlemen and children of all ages, was truly rare, special and humbling.
Curly and company, competitors, fans and friends...this past weekend at RIVERSIDE was what racing could/should be.
Let's keep the kind of spirit that was RIVERSIDE this past weekend going...every weekend.
